Carolyn Cohen

Carolyn Cohen was a third-grade teacher at Bullis School in Potomac, MD before she retired in 2018. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and won National Park Trust’s Buddy National Teacher Award for Outstanding Environmental Stewardship in 2010.

Carolyn has a strong passion for arts in education and integrates arts into the everyday curriculum and believes in the power of making real-world connections in the classroom. She received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland and also created her own program to complete her Master’s in Education at the University of Maryland.
