Meshach Rhoades
Crowell & Moring LLP
Denver, CO
As far back as she can remember, Meshach’s parents carried her on their backs while they trekked throughout Colorado and the Mountain West — hiking, camping, and fishing. Her love of the mountains and the independence they helped build in her solidified when she was young and hiked with a group of her youngster peers through Maroon Bells to Conundrum Pass. It was a magical experience for her. Her love for the National Park System grew each year and she developed a special bond with nature.
Along with her husband, Meshach has two wonderful children who also love to camp, hike, and explore our National Park System. Together, they have hiked and camped in National Parks all over the country, with the goal to see them all! In the last year, they have hiked and rode horses in Yellowstone, scaled the mountains in Grand Tetons, peered over the edge of the Black Canyon at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, slid down the sandy dunes in Great Sand Dunes National Park, fished and hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park, hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and in the Great Smoky Mountains, and awed at the wonder that is Arches National Park!
